I grew up in the Boston area and have relocated to Columbia, South Carolina I have since gotten married to my husband Christopher Brian Bell. It was difficult leaving New England but, I'm sure one of the best choices of my life.
I have always been a creative person. In school, my focus was diverse; drawing, photography, graphics, and advertising. At Butera School of Art I studied sign painting and design layout.
Although I headed in quite a different direction for the next 13 years, I was still in an artistic field studying Nail Technology, then applying it to my career. The World of Cosmetology. Going back to school again, I received my licenses in Cosmetology and as Cosmetology Instructor. It's was a great roller coaster ride being in an industry that hurdles you into a whirlwind of stardom (winning first place in NY for Creative Nail Art Competition) and then, just as quickly slaps you back to reality (coming in second in LV for the same competition international)...because sometimes you need it.
At this point in my life I needed a change, so I went back to school for the 3rd time. (yes, another student loan) At Clark University Computer Institute, I took courses in Web/Graphic Design and loved it. Since the .com boom and destruction the jobs available were scarce. I worked in a print shop and did nails on the weekends to keep paying the bills.
In that time I gained some well deserved self confidence and grew up a little. I never gave up the party girl image that I had and was always out gallivanting around town seeing old friends and meeting new ones.
This December Brian surprised me with my new diamond ring replacing the headache ring I had before. I came home Christmas and got to show everyone my new ring and surprised them with the news of a 2006 wedding. We finally set a date for a small ceremony on September 16, 2006 and a giant party for all family and friends on Sunday the 17th. I'm very excited and for some reason not very nervous yet...I'm sure that will come.
I'll fill this page in as my life changes, for now take a look at the pics...
